These are just some of the reasons why we get together each week
1. Business Growth
Making connections, facilitating introductions and passing referrals is a strong part of what we do. Although we make time for the passing of referrals each week this happens quite naturally in a relaxed manner, there is no pressure or compulsion to pass leads although it is always encouraged.
2. Business Support
Sharing of challenges in a safe environment is important to our group. We have a wealth of business experience and members have expressed that they value being able to discuss business challenges and issues in a trusted and safe environment. These can be “brought to the table” for a group discussion or can be discussed informally with trusted peers.
3. Making A Difference to the Community
It’s not just about us! We endeavour to help our local charity which is currently Wycombe Homeless Connection and have raised more than £20,000 for this cause. If your business is looking for a CSR outlet of its own then supporting Wycombe Homeless Connection through Business Connexions could be a good fit.
4. Friendship and Camaraderie
For small businesses owners, including sole traders, running a business can be an isolating experience, particularly if you are used to the sociality of an office or a larger team. Business Connexions helps members feel “connected” and engenders a strong team ethos.
Please note that membership is by invitation only and we only allow one representative per profession.
In order to help protect members and visitors alike, we ask that attendees provide evidence that EITHER
1. they have had at least two Covid-19 vaccinations (the later of which must have been at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting); or
2. they have a recent negative test result (from no earlier than 48 hours prior to the meeting).
Our members have the skills, talents and offer services that can help businesses during the current extraordinary business climate.
